The planned and constructed structured communication network from TKS with about 5000 RJ 45-connections and eight intelligent network nodes which are connected by a star design - and about 4 kilometres long fibre optic-backbone (12-fibry fibre optic-cabel) or 2 Mbit T1 connection on a central network management, connects

•  about 1200 PCs with 25 Novell-Servers
•  AS 400- and 3270- Terminals with AS 400 and IBM-Host as well as
•  about 2000 ISDN-telephones with four HICOM 300-installations.

For the KPMG (KPMG Frankfurt Deutsche Treuhand Gesellschaft AG, KPMG Frankfurt Unternehmensberatung GmbH, KPMG Munich Unternehmensberatung GmbH, KPMG Cologne Unternehmensberatung GmbH) we have planned and constructed a structured data network with 5300 RJ 45-connections and 25 intelligent network nodes in two buildings. The network nodes are connected with a fibre optic backbone and they are managed by a central network. 

The first communiction network  for Mannesmann Mobilfunk in their headquarters in Dusseldorf was planned and installed by TKS. The subsidiaries Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hannover und Stuttgart, also equiped by us,  are linked to operations like data, telephone and customer services which runs the D2 mobile phone net. These communication networks were planned and ready to run installed by TKS. We have also equipped about 50 D2-Shops and D2-Centers of Mannesmann Mobilfunk with a structured network.

TKS has  planned and constructed the structured communication network with about 4800 connections and 21 intelligent network nodes which are connected by a 3.5 km long fibre optic - backbone (6 - strand fibre optic cable) connects 

• about 1000 PCs to 100 Server and
• more than 1300 analoge and ISDN-telephones to different telephone facilities

Communikation networks of the Microsoft subsidiaries in Bad Homburg, Berlin, Hamburg, Neuss, Prague and Vienna for each of the 30 to 380 end devices were also planned and erected by TKS.

We were instructed for the network installation of the DeTeMobil offices in  Bonn, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hannover, Karlsruhe, Leipzig, Mannheim, Munich and Stuttgart as sole contractor for the construction of the active and passive network. 

In the course of the OPUS -projects (Open User System) we have as partner of the Hewlett Packard Deutschland GmbH reorganized about 35,000 work places of the Deutsche Bank subsidiaries to client/server - structure in about 18 months. In this project we were involved in  planning, logistics and construction works.

In the year 2001 the TKS GmbH established a network for Goldman Sachs in the Messeturm Frankfurt in 6 months, where 27000 copper ports were attached to 1200 km cables. For an optimal monitoring of the network a RIT Patchview system was installed. The floor distributors are bound with 35 km of optical fibre cable (fibre OM3) at two computre centres. In the fibre cable main computre centres were made over 9.000 MTRJ Unicam Splices (Corning). The Network was constructed according to the AT&T PDS System planned communication network for data and phones. Goldman Sachs runs besides office communications also the completetrading operations.

The planned and constructed communication network with 2600 RJ 45 connections by TKS is managed by  16 intelligent network nodes junctions and a fibre optic backbone of a central management.

TKS installed W-LAN networks in over 300 hotels all over Germany. In doing so TKS was responsible for the network planning and the illumination of the access points as well as the complete installation and documentation.
